I have cried watching every episode of the first series. Michael Landon is amazing in his role. This one is heartbreaking as you just want him to be happy. For he is always caring for everyone else.
He is just so believable, whether he is playing an Angel or Pa from Little house. This person is very gifted with profound expression and understanding. Michael Landon as far as the audience can see is just brilliant. And Victor French's humble down to earth no nonsense personality appeals to us, he's like the really cool buddy in the neighborhood. What a match - made in heaven.

I don't know...Wil Wheaton (Max) is more an asshole today than he was on The Big Bang Theory and he is pretty much like he acted in this video. I think his role of Wesley Crusher on Star Trek really went to his head and just ruined him.

This series was & is excellent for showing how people should be towards one another. Unfortunately, it can seldom happen in 'real' life. Michael Landon recognised this only too well, & identifies why he conceived the idea of bringing it all into a sort of reality. Divine intervention is the message, & what better way than through an Angel; in fact, a few Angels since Jonathan is not the only one to appear. It is believed by some that the dead can see us. If the truth, it would be nice to imagine Michael & Victor doing it right now. Great viewing, & hadn't seen them in yonks. Congrats to all concerned.
I love the switch in this. Mark counseling and guiding Jonathan instead of the other way around. This episode proves that only God is perfect not Angels. They were once human and although exist on a higher plane still have human characteristics in them.
In reality humans do not become angels but they become saints. This is what is taught in the Bible. Angels are pure spirits which is why we don’t see them.

You may wish to read Psalm 8:3-5, especially verse 5... and also, Hebrews 1:14 I started watching HTH series just recently & found myself enjoying it...love the timeless lessons, values, human relationships etc contained in each episode. Michael Landon had done a great job of producing this show. Season 1 is the best.. i like seasons 1-3 the most. They tried make yhe intro music sound more upbeat and happier as the seasons when on.. but i loke this original version as it brings tears to my eyes and joy and hope in my heart.
